What are Static Web Pages?

A static web page is a web page that is presents the same information to all users. The user navigates through this information by the use of Hypertext. Static web pages are quick and easy to put together and are great for demonstration of how a site will look. However, these sites offer little visitor personalization and are difficult to keep up-to-date.
